Teamwork is a project management and team collaboration platform for managing projects, tasks, milestones, time tracking, and client work. The Teamwork connector uses the Teamwork Projects REST API to read data such as projects, tasks, time entries, and people into Nexla, and to write records back to create and update projects, tasks, and time entries.
Power end-to-end data operations for your Teamwork API with Nexla. Our bi-directional Teamwork connector is purpose-built for Teamwork, making it simple to ingest data, sync it across systems, and deliver it anywhere — all with no coding required. Nexla turns API-sourced data into ready-to-use, reusable data products and makes it easy to send data to Teamwork or any other destination. With comprehensive monitoring, lineage tracking, and access controls, Nexla keeps your Teamwork workflows fast, secure, and fully governed.

The Teamwork Projects API authenticates over HTTP Basic Auth. You will need your Teamwork API key and the base URL of your Teamwork site (for example, https://your-site.teamwork.com).
To obtain your credentials:
Sign in to your Teamwork.com account.
Click your profile avatar in the bottom-left corner of the interface, then select Edit My Details.
In the details panel, open the API & Mobile tab.
Click Show your Token, then copy the API key that is displayed.
Note your site address (base URL) from your browser's address bar — this is your Teamwork domain, in the form https://your-site.teamwork.com.
With HTTP Basic Auth, the Teamwork API key is supplied as the username and any non-empty value can be used for the password. Alternatively, your Teamwork account login username and password may be used. Because Basic Auth credentials are only base64-encoded, all requests are made over HTTPS. For full details, see the Teamwork API authentication guide and Finding your URL & API Key.
Enter your Teamwork site address in the Base URL field, for example https://your-site.teamwork.com.
Click the Save button at the bottom of the overlay. The newly added credential will now appear in a tile on the Authenticate screen during data source/destination creation.
If your API key is compromised, regenerate it from the API & Mobile tab of your Teamwork profile and update the credential in Nexla. For detailed information about the Teamwork Projects API, see the Teamwork API documentation.
To create a new data flow, navigate to the Integrate section, and click the New Data Flow button. Select the Teamwork connector tile, then select the credential that will be used to connect to your Teamwork site, and click Next; or, create a new Teamwork credential for use in this flow.
